Privacy policy

This policy explains how Headshot Heroes, a Highway 20 Productions brand, handles information collected through headshot-heroes.com, our inquiry forms, and links to third-party booking services.

Website analytics and advertising measurement

On our production website, Google Analytics 4 and Meta Pixel are enabled by default. These services help us understand visits, measure advertising performance, and record limited actions such as page views, booking-link clicks, and successful team inquiries.

Google and Meta may receive online identifiers, IP-address and device information, browser information, referring-page information, and the page or event involved. Our website event code does not send inquiry names, email addresses, phone numbers, organization names, message text, or user-supplied URL query strings to these analytics providers.

Google and Meta may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. Learn more in Google’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s Privacy Policy.

Your analytics choice

You can disable Google Analytics and Meta Pixel measurement for future visits on this browser below. We store that choice in your browser. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out and do not initialize these providers.

Information you provide

When you submit a team inquiry, we collect the contact and project details shown in the form so we can respond, assess fit, and plan photography services. Cloudflare Turnstile helps prevent spam, and Brevo delivers the inquiry to us. Their processing is governed by their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Individual-session booking links open SimplyBook.me. Information entered there is collected by the booking service and is subject to the booking service’s privacy terms.

Website chat

Our website offers a chat window so you can ask a question. The chat is provided by Highway 20 Productions, the company behind the Headshot Heroes brand, through its Conversation Manager service. When you start a chat, we receive the messages you type, the name or contact details you choose to share, and basic technical information such as your browser, the page you were on, and the time. Our staff read and reply to chats, and we keep them as business records so we can answer your question and follow up.

Please do not put sensitive information, such as payment card numbers or passwords, into the chat. The chat is for questions about our services; it is not a booking or payment tool.

How we use and disclose information

We use information to operate the website, respond to inquiries, provide requested services, protect the website, understand site performance, and evaluate our advertising. We disclose information to service providers that perform these functions for us and when required by law. We do not sell inquiry-form content for money.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry and business records only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and legitimate business records. Analytics providers retain data according to our provider settings and their policies. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to ask what personal information we hold, request correction or deletion, receive a copy, or opt out of certain advertising uses or disclosures. Use our contact page to submit a privacy request. We may need to verify the request before acting on it.

Children

This website is intended for adults seeking professional photography services. We do not knowingly use this website to collect personal information from children.

Policy updates

We may update this policy when our services or legal obligations change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
